Yale-in-Washington is thrilled to announce: A Talk by Ian Solomon, U.S. Executive Director of the World Bank.

Ian Solomon was confirmed as Executive Director for the United States on March 10, 2010. Prior to joining the World Bank, he served as a Senior Advisor to the Treasury Secretary in international and domestic issues, and before that served then Senator Obama as Legislative Council for poverty, economic development, government reform, tax, budget, banking, and finance issues. He has also worked as an Associate Dean at Yale Law School and Chairman of the New Haven Port Authority. Solomon graduated magna cum laude from Harvard in 1995 and received his law degree from Yale in 2002.
