The Yale College Dean's Office, Office of the President, and Undergraduate Career Services are proud to present the Yale-in-Washington program, a full-featured resource for students pursuing internships and other summer opportunities in the Washington, D.C. Area.

- Aug 7: BBQ with Young Alums & Yale Club of DC [Register by August 3 at 9pm]
This summer, students had the opportunity to:
- meet with President Obama's advisors on the economy, healthcare reform, and domestic policy in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
- enjoy a baseball game at Nationals Ballpark.
- have lunch with journalists from the New York Times, WashPost, the Daily Beast, The New Republic, NPR, and TIME Magazine
- meet with senators and congressmen from Texas, Rhode Island, Minnesota, Virginia, and Connecticut.
- watch a performance at a famous local theater.
- take private tours of the West Wing, the CIA, the Smithsonian Museum of American History, and Google.
- meet and mingle with students from Harvard, Princeton, Penn, and many other universities.
- participate in a speechwriting workshop with President Bill Clinton's foreign policy speechwriter.
- view a private film screening.
